The Gerry Foundation requested, and was granted, an extension
to their June 30th deadline for submitting the FGEIS for the PAC project.
23 August, 2002
- The Final Generic
Environmental Impact Statement for the Bethel Performing Arts Center was
presented by the Gerry Foundation.
8 October, 2002
- The Bethel Joint Lead Agency for the Performing Arts Center approved the
FGEIS for the Gerry Foundation. A
10 day public comment period followed.

- The Bethel Planning Board extended the public comment period for an
additional 15 days.
11 May, 2004 - The
Bethel Planning Board unanimously approved the Special Use Permit for
Bethel Woods - Center for the Arts. This
concluded the state's environmental quality review [SEQRA] process,
and the Town's application requirements.
