Dear Brad,
You can use my photos with
credit. I also have photo from 1969 which are outstanding.
I believe that what happened during the 1994 Woodstock event that occurred
at the original Woodstock Music and Art Fair site is the type of event
that should occur every year. It was a spontaneous concert put together by
volunteers to honor the most important event of the century by and for the
people. In 1994 musicians donated their time and so did the stage and
sound crews. Security was simple and the only divider between the stage
and the people was a rope and duck tape was used instead of laminated
passes.
The only difference should be that we go back to the original security
idea of people who want to help keep the concert safe and sane use arm
bands with flying pigs on them to honor our great leader Wavy Gravy. For
without
the Phil Osophy of Wavy Gravy and his band of Hog Farmers and friends,
Woodstock would not have the same connotation that it does today.
This sacred site should be honored as it has been since 1969 with the
minimum amount of structures.
I also think that drinking of alcohol should be banned from any concert at
this site.
Let me know if I can help you in any other way.
Peace, Lisa Law
