The Woodstock - Preservation Archives is vast, and our goal has been to
create the most comprehensive Woodstock-information website on the
internet. With that, we have developed an exclusive feature in which we
are able to provide the opportunity for students researching Woodstock ’69,
to receive first-hand information by corresponding with people who were
there.
Our “Woodstock Historians” are a very diverse group of people from
various parts of the world, with different lifestyles, and a wide array of
viewpoints, perspectives and opinions - all, with one common thread - they
are all Woodstock ‘69 veterans.
In association with the Woodstock - Preservation Archives, this unique
group of men and women are making themselves available to answer
questions, share their knowledge, experiences, and memories, with those
seeking a better understanding of what it was like to be at Yasgur’s
Farm that weekend in 1969, and to convey an insight to the social and
cultural significance of the event that defined their generation..
People helping people, sharing information and passing down the history
- and helping students along the way.
This website is privileged to have the participation of the Woodstock
Historians and we invite all students working on essays, projects, or
papers to take advantage of this opportunity. For more information, please
contact Joanne.
**If you are a Woodstock ‘69 veteran, and would like to become
involved, please let us know. |
